Thomas Chalifoux grew up in a family shaped by service. His father was a World War II Navy veteran, and that example of duty carried into Thomas's own life from a young age.

He served more than 30 years in the United States Army, retiring at the rank of Colonel. His time in uniform began at Fort Benning jump school in 1972 and spanned three decades of leadership, discipline, and sacrifice across every assignment he was given.

Alongside his military career, Thomas spent nearly five decades in business in Central Florida - creating jobs, managing teams, and building opportunity for families across the region. He also served the community on the Osceola County School Board.

Faith and family remain at the center of his life. He and his wife, Tammy, have built a partnership grounded in faith, commitment, and a shared love for country and community. In December 2025, Thomas celebrated his mother's 100th birthday with her - a milestone that speaks to the family roots and generational values that have shaped him.

He has faced hard things head-on, including a personal battle with stage 4 cancer, meeting it with the same perseverance and gratitude that have defined his life.

Away from the boardroom, Thomas is most at home on the ranch - working the land, tending cattle, and living out the values of stewardship, self-reliance, and hard work that have guided him for a lifetime.
